Bassist/composer Simon H. Fell represents a significant force within Britain’s generally fertile improvisational scene. Yet, the artist has worked with Americans such as John Zorn (sax), Joey Baron (drums) and others, while also venturing into mainstream jazz and chamber frameworks.
