L'ascolto del primo brano di questo disco, una lunga e pensosa “Intro" del solo organo Hammond di Frank Salis non ci fa sospettare che si tratterà di un album che possiamo inserire nella categoria dell'acid jazz, con riferimenti a Jimmy Smith ed agli organisti del suo periodo.
