Jacob Anderskov: Panta Rhei

Leggere percussioni sul legno del pianoforte e distillati di note che potrebbero fungere da ideale commento ad una malinconica sequenza cinematografica, introducono Panta Rhei, avventura solitaria del pianista danese Anderson Jacob.

E ne definiscono le coordinate stilistiche. Che sono quelle della musica eurocolta, del bozzetto piuttosto che dell’affresco, dell’improvvisazione come ricerca della bellezza del suono e valorizzazione dei silenzi piuttosto che esibizione virtuosistica.

Ci si muove in punta di piedi, seguendo il flusso delle idee e delle emozioni. Lasciando all’ascoltatore la libertà di trovare un percorso narrativo anche là dove non sembra trovare ragione di esistere.

Qualche volta Anderskov corre il rischio di scivolare vicino ad atmosfere new age, altre sembra perdere un poco il filo del discorso, ma complessivamente l’incisione tiene grazie anche alla sensibilità e alla tecnica indiscutibile del pianista. E non mancano momenti veramente pregevoli come l’omaggio a Gyorgy Ligeti, sobrio e intenso, in dinamico equilibrio tra il frullio della mano destra e i severi contrappunti della sinistra.
