Humphrey Lyttelton & Stacey Kent ?Between Friends? Worthing Pavilion Sunday 23 June 2002

This production, live at the Worthing Pavilion, achieves the best of both worlds ? a swinging stage show with the atmosphere of a club session!

Two internationally acclaimed jazz stars, a band handpicked for their versatility and swing, special guest star Jim Tomlinson ? what more could a music fan want?

The Inimitable Humphrey Lyttelton:

Humph has been a star for longer than most of us can remember!

Band leader for over 50 years, star of radio 4?s ?I?m Sorry I Haven?t a Clue? and busier than ever on Radio 2?s ?The Best of Jazz?, Humph also finds time to tour with his internationally acclaimed band and run his own record label. Not bad for a man over 80!

Starring at the Worthing Pavilion with his friend Stacey Kent, with special guest Jim Tomlinson, this will be a show to remember.

International Star Stacey Kent:

Well on her way to being ?The First Lady of Song? and being compared to the late, great Ella Fitzgerald, Stacey has gone on to international stardom, since winning the 1999 British Jazz Award for ?Vocalist of the Year?.

With her own Radio 2 show and records almost constantly at the top of the Jazz and Billboard charts worldwide, Stacey has an exhausting international schedule, so her show with Humph and the band at the Worthing Pavilion shouldn?t be missed!

See you there!
