The North Sea Jazz Festival, the world's largest indoor jazz festival, has for 35 years brought the biggest, broadest range of artists to the Netherlands. But, on the 3th & 4th of September 2010 the festival's ripples fan out to the Caribbean to inaugurate the Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival on the hospitable and vibrant Dutch island of Curacao.

In settings traditional to its progenitor, the Curacao debut is set in major indoor and outdoor venues with a bill of over 35 local, national and international jazz, R&B, neo soul, and Latin artists. The stellar line up includes The Roy Hargrove Quintet, John Legend, Richard Bona, The Michel Camilo Trio, Mulato, Sergio Mendes, La India, Randal Corsen, Sierra Maestra and more.

Headlining the festival are multiple Grammy award winning performers Simply Red, George Benson, Natalie Cole, and Lionel Ritchie.

The first Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival will feature two evenings and nights of music on three stages. Venues include the World Trade Center Curacao and two outdoor locations including a beach front stage.
