Building on the technology that made it possible to broadcast the National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters Concert at the Kennedy Center last April, All About Jazz presented its second live broadcast on Saturday, March 21 at the Candlelight Lounge in Trenton, NJ. Unlike the NEA event which was presented sitewide, the Candlelight livestream was limited to the Trenton, Philadelphia and Bethlehem Jazz Near You websites. In collaboration with Front Row Seat Productions and powered by Streaming Video Provider, Jazz Near You presented Philadelphia-based vocalist Suzanne Cloud and her band Aaron Graves, Lee Smith and Craig McIver for a two-set, 90 minute concert (see details). Presented in HD, video and sound quality were exceptional throughout.

What's Next?

All About Jazz will continue to build on the livestream support we started last week (learn more) and will have additional news to share moving forward. Look for more broadcasts, as well as our plans to continually fine-tune our platform to support livestream presentations. Broadcasting live events will become a permanent part of the All About Jazz and Jazz Near You experience, long after the COVID-19 crisis subsides.

You can help All About Jazz by supporting our effort to build a solution to promote livestream events and help musicians generate revenue from their online concerts and master classes.
