Hello Jazz and peace lovers!

In keeping with our mission to be the safest Jazz club in NYC, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our doors effective immediately due to safety concerns related to Covid-19 and specifically the Delta and Omicron variants.

All remaining performances for 2021 have been canceled and we will be issuing credits to all those who had purchased tickets.

Moving Forward...

Right now, our plan is to reopen in 2022. We will continue to follow the science carefully and follow the guidance from the CDC and other public health officials.

Plan B...

As many of you know, we were able to install 2 1080p/HDMI cameras and set up a beautiful livestream system before reopening in October. IF we can not be in person safely at the start of 2022, we are considering the option to present shows via “livestream only." To make this happen, we'd be looking for sponsors to help us support these remote performances. If you're interested in sponsoring a band, please send an email to: [email protected].

What's New For 2022...

We're thrilled to announce that on Sunday, January 2nd, we'll begin presenting “The Lab Session: Jam & Jazz Party with Mimi Jones & Friends!" This series will continue EVERY SUNDAY at 6pm! Tickets and information.

In the new year, we will also be introducing a “MEMBER NIGHT!" This exclusive night will offer FREE admission, giveaways and additional discounts at the club to our members. Stay tuned for details...

In The Meantime...

We will be releasing the last three months' worth of our live stream recordings soon (via Room623.com) and our holiday promotion of 50% OFF all memberships is still good through the end of this month! Sign up here.

We have all worked extremely hard to maintain as safe an environment as possible at Room 623 and while we could certainly remain open during this uncertain time, we simply feel it is not worth risking the health of our patrons, staff and musicians.

Thank you all again for supporting our mission and helping us create such a positive and respectful atmosphere at Room 623...the music and connection has been AMAZING! We look forward to reopening our doors in the new year and continuing to celebrate the healing power of live Jazz! Please continue to stay safe, stay compassionate and stay engaged...

Best wishes from all of us at Room 623!
