A concept album relating to the sea and its inhabitants, Maiden Voyage became one of the most important jazz albums of the last century. Many of its musicians became modern jazz legends.
The band includes award-winning, internationally-recognized saxophonist Jeff Antoniuk, pianist Allyn Johnson, bassist Mike Pope, trumpeter Kenny Rittenhouse, drummer Todd Harrison . All are seasoned and highly-regarded performers and jazz educators.
