The expanded exhibition area and the exciting program have convinced more exhibitors than ever—current initial figures indicate a 20% growth. For the first time countries like Macedonia and Greece, Slovenia and Russia will be present at jazzahead!
And the acceleration does not stop there: the first-time offer of professional Matchmaking supports the participants in the successful planning of their meetings. Improved concept and expanded exhibition area pay off: 20% increase in exhibitors With a current total number of 345 exhibitors, jazzahead! tops its previous year's result by 20%. The team is especially happy about the international response. Two thirds of the exhibitors come from all over Europe and even beyond that.
Amongst the more than 30 represented countries one can find exotics like Russia and Macedonia, showing that the trade fair location Bremen has established itself as a capital of the national and international jazz scene.
Matchmaking—professional, fast and efficient A trade fair only becomes a success through qualitative contacts. But how does one find the right contact amongst more than 1,500 participants? To solve this problem, jazzahead! 2011 premieres a Matchmaking service on Saturday, April 30th.
The service is a platform for national and international “suppliers" and “demanders," for one-man-shows and delegations interested in business contacts. After the registration, all participants are matched with potential business partners and are given the possibility to use the professional and quiet environment of the Matchmaking Lounge to get together in prescheduled 15-minutes meetings. Registration is open until April 16th 2011.

During this time the exhibition and the European Jazz Meeting will take place at the Congress Centre, the Overseas Night, German Night and Turkish Night at Kulturzentrum Schlachthof, and there will be a Club Night at a total of 14 Bremen venues.
