We would like to let you know about a great fundraising event that we have planned to help support the Coltrane Home in Dix Hills, Long Island, New York. After being saved from demolition in 2004, the Coltrane home was purchased by the Town of Huntington and is being restored by our Non-profit Organization, Friends of the Coltrane Home, headed by Ravi Coltrane, his wife Kathleen Hennessy and Steve Fulgoni. The home is now on the New York State and National Register of Historic Places.

We have made a lot of progress but we need your help! Come join us on November 10th.

“Hear Our Song", a Broadway caliber production is coming to Huntington Township the evening of November 10th. Featuring five actresses and awe- inspiring musical support, the presentation tells the stories of five women at different stages of their lives, the dilemmas they face and the manner in which each overcomes and is transformed. Life affirming messages of love and family resonate throughout the production and the performance of 17 Broadway songs.

Presented in support of The Coltrane Home in Dix Hills, an historic home and the former residence of Jazz great John Coltrane, “Hear Our Song" will aid in raising funds for the restoration of the home. When complete, The Coltrane Home will help in preserving and promoting the musical legacy Coltrane left behind and will be an inspirational visit for all. John Coltrane chose to live in this community and as a result produced some of the most noteworthy music of his career here. It is our sincerest wish that you come out on the evening of November 10th and participate with us in experiencing “Hear Our Song" and in supporting The Coltrane Home.
