Bob Gluck Named Keyboard Magazine's "Unsigned Artist of the Month" for June 2009

Pianist Bob Gluck's 2007 recording Electric Brew is featured in the June 2009 issue of Keyboard magazine. Naming Gluck “Unsigned Artist of the Month," writer Michael Gallant wrote: “Composer Bob Gluck combines lithe piano playing with processed shofar (ram’s horn) and a wide variety of computer-sourced sonics to create an engaging tapestry of living sound... Electric Brew is a welcome reminder of what magic can happen when rules are not so much broken, but taken out of the equation completely. Highly recommended."

In his premiere recording as a pianist, Bob Gluck creates a rich musical feast of works that integrate pianism and electronics in new and innovative ways. Bob Gluck's latest recording, the trio outing Sideways was released on the British jazz label, FMR, in 2008. He is now at work on a recording, 'Synapse Brothers' featuring guitarist John Myers and noted sound designer Patrick Gleeson.
