My Jazz Story

I love jazz because... it is one of the most beautiful ways to enjoy freedom and spirit. I was first exposed to jazz...as young child at home. My uncles were all musicians and exposed me to all types of music as a child. The best show I ever attended as a teen was Rahsaan Roland Kirk at the Village Gate! The first jazz record was Wes Montgomery, Tequila. My advice to new listeners, never be afraid to explore new sounds and ways of listening to music your not accustomed to. Never surrender to mediocrity.
