The legendary singer Marilyn Maye kicks off this week's Neon Jazz in pure style with a classic song and a clip from her live 90th Birthday performance in Kansas City on Veteran's Day 2018. We catch up with new work by the great John Petrucelli off his 2018 CD Presence and move on into the great Marshall Gilkes and the WDR Big Band. Then, we look into the world of two cats that had a huge impact on Marshall and the world of jazz, Bill Sears and Conrad Herwig.

This action episode continues with a great Canadian cat Ernesto Cervini's Turbopop off his latest CD Abundance. We also profile actor, pianist and cool cat Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra with a cut off The Capitol Studio Sessions. Finally, we catch up with the immensely talented Champian Fulton and her The Stylings of Champian. To bring this episode to a fitting close is the legendary Clark Terry and Chapian's father Stephen Fulton playing the theme from The Flintstones.
