Improved album content to support leaders, co-leaders and side personnel
Your good friends at AAJ greatly improved how we handle album personnelmaking it easier for readers to discover "who played on what."
To best illustrate how we (now) present personnel on an album, check out Pat Metheny's From This Place. Scroll to the personnel section to view the new look which includes the musician's name, their photo and their instrument. The name and photo is hotlinked to the musician's page at All About Jazz. We also improved how we present personnel on an album review page. Check John Kelman's review of From This Place. Personnel is more clearly marked and the names are now hotlinked to their respective musician pages.
Every musician in the database has an "Albums" landing page and you can learn more about the nuts & bolts of this project here.
