Due lunghi brani per cinquanta minuti complessivi di musica, caratterizzano l'ennesima fatica discografica di Dave Rempis e della sua etichetta Aerophonic. Come al solito ci troviamo difronte a musica "dura e pura," senza compromessi, densa, libera espressione artistica, autonoma e in pieno controllo da parte degli artisti. Al sodalizio di lunga data fra Rempis e Frank Rosaly in Icoci si aggiunge il giovane bassista e chitarrista olandese Jasper Stadhouders, conosciuto durante il festival di Moers nel 2009.

Ed è aggiunta di non poco conto. Con il basso elettrico funge in qualche modo da perno, seppur anomalo e anarchico, alle cavalcate di fiati e percussioni ancorandole a momenti di stabilità. Quando imbraccia la chitarra allarga enormemente la gamma timbric del trio, introduce elementi ritmici dissonanti e negli slanci solistici rivela un approccio per certi versi memore di quello di un maestro dell'improvvisazione radicale come Derek Bailey. Per cultori del genere.
