Inciso nel maggio 1994 e pubblicato tre anni dopo su LP a tiratura limitata su etichetta Super Secret Sound, questo album vede il leggendario Sunny Murray, all'epoca cinquantasettenne, affiancato da due giovani musicisti che non avrebbero poi avuto particolare modo di far parlare di sé. L'attuale versione in CD, rispetto a quella in vinile, vede l'aggiunta di oltre venti minuti di musica inedita, anche se i pezzi sono gli stessi, però in quattro casi su sei in versioni dilatate anche di parecchio. Due di essi arrivano così a rasentare i diciannove minuti, nel secondo caso, "Why You Need A Lawyer When Your Pants On Fire" (il primo è l'iniziale "Homework"), coperti da un lunghissimo monologo di batteria, francamente tedioso all'inverosimile, povero com'è di un disegno che ne giustifichi l'ampiezza.

Meglio vanno le cose nei brani in trio, in particolare in "Good Things," dove Andreano sostituisce al contrabbasso Dickie, che passa al clarone. Un po' ovunque domina un clima scuro, cupo, talora anche un po' confuso, involuto, per quanto non privo di un suo fascino, anche se qua e là l'impressione che la si tiri un po' troppo per le lunghe si fa palpabile. Oltre al citato brano con variazione di organico, si fa più del resto apprezzare anche "Memorial Day," non a caso di durata a sua volta "umana," mentre il conclusivo "In" è un puro aforisma di commiato.

Pur riconoscendo il valore documentario della dissepoltura, a suo tempo i nostri tre eroi avrebbero potuto fare onestamente qualcosa di più e di meglio per farsi consegnare alla storia.
