Dear All About Jazz Readers,

If you're familiar with All About Jazz, you know that we've dedicated over two decades to supporting jazz as an art form, and more importantly, the creative musicians who make it. Our enduring commitment has made All About Jazz one of the most culturally important websites of its kind in the world reaching hundreds of thousands of readers every month. However, to expand our offerings and develop new means to foster jazz discovery we need your help.

You can become a sustaining member for a modest $20 and in return, we'll immediately hide those pesky Google ads PLUS deliver exclusive content and provide access to future articles for a full year! This combination will not only improve your AAJ experience, it will allow us to continue to rigorously build on the great work we first started in 1995. Read on to view our project ideas...

The greatest chapter in the adventure that is All About Jazz is only just beginning. —Ian Patterson, from A Modern Day Jazz Messenger
In celebration of All About Jazz's 20th anniversary, we're asking for greater participation from our readers. Taking a page out of Wikipedia's book, we're looking for our friends and our long-time readers to pitch in and help: from submitting an article, to helping with other sections of the website including Jazz Near You.

Kinda like this...

Love Jimmy Smith's music? Then help us complete his musician profile and his discography.

or, this...

Live in Seattle? Then help us complete the Seattle venue listing page.

But back to articles...

If you have an article that you think would be of interest to our readers then present it to us for consideration. We'll archive older interviews and we'll work with you on one-off ideas like a Top Ten List article, a Building a Jazz Library article or a Big Question article. We'll also consider limited-run column ideas.

If any of these ideas appeal to you, please contact me to discuss.
