Good week... good progress... good boy!

Good week... good progress... good boy!: Good week... good progress... good boy!
With another week like this one, All About Jazz will be fully restored. It will also be faster, more secure, and will easily support our expansion efforts. We got our heads around the database issues that caused AAJ to slow down or time out and we made continual improvements to greatly reduce latency. Matter of fact, the site goes through long stretches where it's blazing fast and that will soon become the norm.

We also restored mail and improved how we deliver it. Anyone who signed up, reset their password, claimed a page, placed an order, submitted an article or news announcement received their confirmation messages yesterday. Moving forward, this type of mail will be sent instantaneously throughout the day.

We're working to bring the Jazz Near You weekly eblast back online and though there are some obstacles to overcome, we feel confident we'll be back to our weekly schedule starting next week.

That's all for now. If you want to support our efforts to expand All About Jazz and Jazz Near You, please make a donation by clicking the "more" link. [ more ]
