Questo album è davvero impressionante. I due gemelli polacchi Marcin e Bartlomeij Brat Oles inventano una miriade di suoni che nessuno poteva immaginare essere presenti nelle potenzialità strutturali di un contrabbasso e di una batteria.

Lo fanno con grande sapienza tecnica e con grande fantasia compositiva ed improvvisativa. La musica è fresca ed originale, piena di suggestioni, di magie, di capacità espressive miracolosamente dilatate all'infinito. Fin dall'inizio l'obiettivo dichiarato dei due fratelli era quello di rompere le barriere dinamiche, armoniche e strutturali dei loro strumenti e l'obiettivo pare perfettamente centrato.

Dimenticatevi il drum 'n' bass basato solo sul groove e poco più. Qui abbiamo dieci composizioni/improvvisazioni (per stessa ammissione dei due protagonisti il confine è molto labile) che respirano in maniera assolutamente organica, che raccontano storie astratte ma concrete allo stesso tempo.

Storie di vita e di saggezza, storie di dramma e di passione, storie di sconfitte e di clamorose rivincite. Insomma storie della vita e della morte, del mistero dell'esistenza. E scusate se è poco...
