Jazz educator and all-around musician Dan Moretti adds to his considerable and impressive resume with a new recording from his band Once Through. Stories is Moretti’s outing from academia, giving ample proof that he can walk the walk as well as talk the talk. Leading a guitar- keyboards quintet, Mr. Moretti spins out 21st century grooves one after another, highlighting his superb keyboards/guitar duos with Tim Ray and Bruce Bartlett, respectively.
