Sara Serpa, André Matos: All the Dreams

Elegante, delicato, gradevole, ma anche edulcorato, epidermico, plastificato, sostanzialmente vacuo, oltre che veramente troppo ripetitivo: questo il ritratto che ci sentiremmo di trasmettere del secondo lavoro del duo portoghese composto da Sara Serpa, cantante (ma qui anche più o meno occasionale tastierista), già nota per opere in proprio e accanto a Ran Blake, soprattutto, e André Matos, chitarrista.

La partenza, e di fatto tutta la prima quaterna di brani, indulge prevalentemente sui difetti del disco, sui tratti che più lo banalizzano. Poi arriva "Programa" e un'eleganza meno estenuata ed effimera inizia a insinuarsi, allargandosi a macchia di leopardo anche a segmenti dei due brani che seguono, così come, ancora, nel dittico comprendente "Hino" e, almeno in parte, "Lisboa," ma è un po' sempre un andare a cercare col lanternino differenze (nello specifico una lievitazione qualitativa) fin troppo esili, spesso impalpabili come di fatto la musica offerta dall'album, sul cui esito finale i due ospiti presenti qua e là incidono veramente poco.

Non tutto da buttare, quindi, ma una musica alla fin fine buona come sfondo, come sottofondo, di spessore e substantia creativa veramente esigui, quanto meno sfuggenti.
