Ryan Truesdell

A world-renowned, GRAMMY® Award-winning producer, composer, arranger, and educator, Ryan Truesdell was voted “Best New Artist” in the 2012 JazzTimes Critic’s Poll and is best known for his award-winning Gil Evans Project, a large ensemble devoted to the performance and preservation of the music of the famed arranger and Miles Davis collaborator, Gil Evans. This extensive project to unearth and bring to light some of the lesser-known music of Evans’ has resulted in two critically acclaimed albums: CENTENNIAL: Newly Discovered Works of Gil Evans (ArtistShare, 2012) which debuted ten never-before-recorded works of Evans’ in honor of his 100th birthday, and LINES OF COLOR: Live at Jazz Standard (Blue Note/ArtistShare, 2015), recorded live during the band’s annual residency at Jazz Standard in New York City. Both albums were unanimously praised by the critics, receiving a total of four GRAMMY® nominations and a posthumous GRAMMY® Award for “Best Instrumental Arrangement” for Evans, in addition to two Jazz Journalist Association Jazz Awards for ‘Record of the Year’ and ‘Large Ensemble of the Year,’ UK JazzFM Awards Nomination for ‘Album of the Year’ and the "Les Coups De Coeur" from France's Académie Charles Cros.

Avinoam Ettun

Avinoam Ettun is an Israeli composer and guitar player. living in New York. An alumnus of the Jerusalem Music Academy and the New School, Ettun has played and recorded with important figures in the Israeli/European/American: Hans-Peter Salentin, Boris Gammer, Milena Jancuric, Jason Rigby, Nadav Assaf, Allina Zalozna ,Jason Rosenblatt's country band, and more. Ettun's work also includes collaborations with artists from other practices: Working with poets and painters and playing in an improvisation ensemble with dancers.The latest release of Ettun, "Searching for Colors," includes his compositions forstring quartet and jazz ensemble, featuring improvised sections and well-orchestrated colorful moments

Janno Trump

Born: November 10, 1990

Janno Trump is one of the most esteemed bass players of the younger generation in Estonia. He is primarily active as a jazz musician, but has also performed and recorded with a wide variety of pop and rock artists. Janno has written music for both smaller jazz ensembles and big bands. He has been the artistic director of several major music projects and is the leader of the groups JT Conception and Janno Trump Clarity Ensemble. Born into a family of musicians, Janno has been involved in music and playing instruments for as long as he can remember. He graduated from the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and has later complemented his studies at the Amsterdam Conservatory

Tomoko Omura is a composer and violinist. She was named #1 Rising Star Violinist by Downbeat Magazine’s Critics Poll in 2021. Her fifth album, “Branches Vol. 2” (Outside In Music, 2021) was named Bandcamp’s “Best Jazz of 2021”. She has played at internationally renowned venues including the Village Vanguard, The Jazz Gallery, Jazz Standard, Lincoln Center Appel Room, Smalls, Mezzrow, SF Jazz Miner Auditorium, National Sawdust, Newport Jazz Festival, Blue Note, among others. She has also performed and recorded with many of today’s leading artists including Paquito D’Rivera, Fabian Almazan, Linda Oh, Camila Meza, Aubrey Johnson, Vadim Neselovsky, David Broza, David Amram, and more.
