Steve Helfand

Steve Helfand is a Vacaville, CA-based freelance jazz drummer.  He performs often with the Dave Bass Trio and leads his own groups at various local venues.  Helfand toured with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, has appeared with national artists such as Steve Lippia and previously served as an Artist-in-Residence and Guest Lecturer in Music at the University of NE-Lincoln.  He has appeared at such venues as world-famous Preservation Hall and the French Quarter Festival, New Orleans, LA; the Maduro room at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo Hotel, Tokyo, Japan; and various other clubs, stages, and venues around the world.
