London Born Vocalist/Violinist Owen Valentine (Formerly Fiidla) has performed on major stages in Jazz, Pop, R&B,and other idioms around the world. After initial tour work with The Sun Ra Arkestra, Owen went on to perform with George Duke, Gil Scot Heron, George Braithe, Surface and countless others. His vocals are soul-tinged jazz, stretch over a 4-octave range and show influences ranging from Donny Hathaway to Al Jarreau. An innovative performer, Owen's performances are marked by authenticity, excitement and passion, showcasing his ability to play many instruments, especially the 5- string electric violin! His soulful renditions of his original music and soul classics are just a starting point that lead to the creation of spontaneous works of music with every show is a new adventure In sound and intensity. Contributing vocalizations and violin compositions to radio, television and film, Owen produced and hosted his own music and health focused television program, "The Renaissance Show", on Comcast and has been a guest on countless other programs
