Grew up near Copenhagen, Denmark listening to classical jazz-records (Basie, Sinatra, Zetterlund) and jumped into the first professional band in 1991 - jazzfusion! Today Malene mostly sings jazzy folksongs, solo w guitar, or swings the classical jazz-/ evergreen- /bossanova-repertoire w her guitarist now and then supplied by a doublebass-player etc. Malene released a live jazz cd in 2005.
