From Carnegie to discount �" a backwards story of success The jazz quintet Magnify release the cd/USB-card ”Sing” late summer 2010 Few groups are lucky enough to start their careers playing in New York City’s Carnegie Hall. But for Danish quintet Magnify, this was the starting point for their collaboration when they (as the only band from outside USA) were invited to take part in a weeks workshop followed by a concert in the prestigious concert space. This gave the incentive to further develop the group, and the result was Magnify’s debut cd, released in 2007 on the discount-label TIGER
