Born:

Born in Texas City and grew up in Houston, graduating from the Univ. of Texas, 1966. Studied musical performance, Berklee School of Music, 1973-5 and studies privately with Andy McGhee, John Handy, and Noel Jewkes. Moved to New Orleans in 1980 and lived there until August 2005 (Katrina). Was well-known band leader and sideman there. Played live with the O'Jays, the Temptations, Frankie Ford, the Dells, Willie Nelson, Earl King, and many more. Now residing in San Rafael, CA.
