London based bass player Joe Hubbard’s professional background is represented by a collective body of experience that spans over more than three decades as an internationally acclaimed bass guitarist, educator, author and contemporary jazz fusion recording artist. Aside from playing with some of the top jazz musicians on the planet including Flip Nunez, Richie Cole, Jim Mullen, Dick Morrissey, Dave O’Higgins, Frank Gambale, Patches Stewart, Gary Husband, Mose Allison, George Benson, Ian Carr’s Nucleus, Dave Garabaldi (Tower of Power) Walt Fowler and Dave Weckl- Joe is also a well- known recording artist where he has written, arranged and co-produced three internationally acclaimed jazz fusion CDs. Joe is one of the foremost bass educators in the world, having taught some of the most prestigious bass players around including Pino Palladino, Paul Turner (Jamiroquai), Mike Mondesir (Billy Cobham), Nick Beggs (Steven Wilson) and Dave Swift (Jools Holland)
