Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Jeong Hwan Park is a bassist, composer, and educator based in New York City. Since he moved to New York City to attend New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in 2011, Jeong has been performing and recording extensively with many talented young musicians in New York City as well as some of notable legendary jazz musicians such as Billy Drummond, Kenny Werner, Alan Broadbent and Rich Perry. He has been playing at some of New York CIty’s hottest clubs including Blue Note Jazz Club, Zinc Bar, 55 Bar, Bar Next Door, Cleopatra's Needle, BonaFide, Jackson's Room, and many others
