Jazz bass clarinetist Stefano Doglioni was born in 1986 in Feltre, Italy.
He began playing classical clarinet at the age of 9 and since 2004 he dedicated himself exclusively to the bass clarinet.
After receiving his bachelor degree in Jazz Music at the Conservatory of Bologna in 2010 he continued his studies at the "Royal Conservatory" of Den Haag and at the "New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music" in New York. His mentors include Barry Harris, Charles Davis, Chris Byars, John Ruocco.
Stefano has performed in Italy, Holland, Switzerland, France, Africa and USA and he had the privilege to work with notable musicians Freddie Redd, Franz Elsen, Charles Davis, Leroy Williams, Jimmy Wormworth, Ari Roland, Chris Byars, Sacha Perry, John Mosca, Luigi Grasso, Pasquale Grasso, Zaid Nasser, The Mingus Orchestra.

FLUTIST, CLARINETIST AND SAXOPHONIST For more than 10 years he has played professionally in projects of a wide variety within popular music, including Folklore, Tango, Candombe, (MPB) Brazilian Popular Music, Jazz, Funk, Flamenco and more. He trained on the flute at the "Astor Piazzolla" Superior Conservatory of Music of the City of Buenos Aires with Fabio Mazzitelli. He perfected himself in the study of the flute with Paulina Fain, clarinet, saxophones and improvisation with Martín Pantyrer, improvisation and sax with Rodrigo Domínguez, saxos, flute and MPB with Vinícius Dorín, Eduardo Neves, Antonio Rocha, Nivaldo Ornelas and Letieres Leite
