THREE WISE MONKEYS

Born:

A WORD FROM THE WISE... Ten years in and still chasing that “sound”. That elusive gold that floats in the ether, waiting for that moment when the alchemist can summon the mystic power of creativity and shape the vibrations into form. Our latest interpretation of the grand intelligence into a musical unified theory is manifested on the ISOLATION EP. Recorded pristinely in isolation at 196kHz on a state of the art AVID desk. The transparent production bathes the listener in the frequency, capturing instinct vs intelligence. An elegant document tracing the endeavour and the pursuit of that elusive “sound”. Kypo, Alex & Brendon

Brian Dumont

Born:

Brian Dumont, 21, is a musician and composer from Wantagh, New York. He is the bandleader of Jazz/Fusion group Steel Jazz Trio & Friends. He has since taken lessons from the phenomenal steel guitar expert John Widgren. Just as well, he grasps the complex, harmonically-driven instrument in a way that continually yields sessions and perfomances that range from Country, Western Swing, Rock, Blues, Jazz, and Fusion music. The Pedal Steel Guitar lives very literally in few hands, and musicians like Brian Dumont will continue to expand on a truly American instrument.
