Tonbé Lévé, his first album released in 2017, focused on a contemporary Jazz aesthetic is a resounding success. His accolades include "Revelation of the Year" by Jazz Magazine, "Artist to Watch" by Jazzwise Magazine, "One of the 5 best drummers of 2021" by Jazz Magazine & Jazz News. Originally from Guadeloupe, he studied drum ka from the age of five, then drums at Atelier Marcel Lollia, under the direction of Georges Troupé. As a teenager, his talent was revealed in the Kimbòl Youth Orchestra

The saxophonist Jacques Schwarz-Bart was born on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe in the shadow of La Grande Soufrière, which is both an active volcano and the highest mountain in the Lesser Antilles. Both aspects of that peak get to the heart of Schwarz-Bart's career, which has been characterized by rapid ascents and explosive creativity.
