Florencia Ruiz

Singer Florencia Ruiz was born in Haedo, Buenos Aires in 1977. She studied guitar at the Conservatory of Morón, and also studied bandoneon and composition, in addition to faculty work and teaching in schools and kindergartens in the province of Buenos Aires.

Ruiz's musical work is devoted to the composition of songs. Between 2000 and 2005 she made a trilogy critically acclaimed albums : Centre (2000), Cuerpo (2003), and Correr (2005), which were produced/released in Mexico and Japan. In 2006 she made Campfire, an album of remixes and different versions of previous recorded songs, made by national and international musicians under the production of Seba Landro
