Ethan Stern was born and raised on the sounds of Klezmer, Latin Jazz, and RnB in sunny San Diego starting in 1991. After being introduced to the piano at a very early age, Ethan developed a natural talent for the instrument, growing as a classical and pop music pianist. At the age of 14, he acquired a deep love for jazz after learning from Jimmy Heath and Mulgrew Miller at the Stanford Jazz Workshop. Discovering that the music yielded endless potential for growth, he became very deeply involved in the collection and practice of Jazz. Only through being offered a scholarship through Tulane University did Ethan consider moving to New Orleans
