Canadian Guitarist. Vancouver, British Columbia-based. Award winning composer, guitarist, pianist and singer. Jazz and Latin music genres. Awarded Canada Council Grant for composition. Sideman for Juno nominee Karin Plato. Honourable mention in the Vancouver Sun for his guitar work on her CD Pastiche. Sideman for the Platters. David has studied music with John Abercrombie, Dave Holland, Kenny Wheeler, George Adams, Ted Quinlan and Owen Underhill. Dave has recorded or performed with such artists as Kathy Kidd, Allan Johnston, Coleen Savage, Lovi Eli, Paul Blaney, Graham Ord, Oscar Nieto, Pro Musica, Mark Armannini, Patric Caird, Ken Ogilvy, John Forrest, Lawrence Mollerup, Roy Styffe, Chris Sigerson, Bill Runge, Jennifer Scott, Rene Wurst, Alita Dupray, Steve Smith, Chris Whitely of the Whitely Brothers, Hugh Fraser, VEJI, Don Powrie of Skywalk, Danny Parker of Michael Buble, Tom Keenlyside of Skywalk, Chris Tarry of Metalwood, Daryl Jahnke, David Sinclair, Elizabeth Fisher and Animal Slaves, Buff Allen, Laura Crema, Gary Grace of Farmer's Daughter and Victor Bateman.
