Musician

Dan Sieckman

Born:

American born Jazz Guitarist Dan Sieckman received a Bachelor of Music from Arizona State University in 1981. He played extensively in the Phoenix area during the late seventies and early eighties in a variety of jazz and commercial settings. Dan took a somewhat different path than many guitarists, primarily learning the jazz idiom from pianists including Dr. Tom Ferguson, Dan Hearle, and Chuck Moronic while at Arizona State. He has also participated in clinics with the likes of Joe Pass, Herb Ellis, and Barney Kessel, to name a few. Dan took a sabbatical from music for approximately 10 years, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and a career as a Senior Systems Engineer for a global data processing firm. Dan started playing professionally again in 1992 in Little Rock Arkansas and quickly became widely in demand in the central Arkansas area
