Born with a condition known as RP (retinitis pigmentosa) I am almost totally blind. RP is a progressive eye disease. I come from a large family (8 children) and six of us were born with RP. In spite of this, I have been fortunate enough to earn a living as a piano player and piano tuner for over 30 years. My love of music has surely helped me get through some difficult times. My band, known as The Limited Edition was the house band for the The Friar Tuck from 1980 to 1985. The Friar Tuck was a popular restaurant and catering hall in Cedar Grove, NJ. When that came to an end I went out on my own playing at restaurants and at upscale catering/ reception halls throughout Essex and Morris counties in NJ
