Colin Dean, " bassist, bandleader, composer and arranger, has performed with such notables as Candido Camero, Bobby Sanabria, Rene Marie, Junior Mance and David Amram, at venues such as Avery Fischer Hall, Dizzys Club at Lincoln Center, Town Hall in New York City, among many others. A versatile and creative musician, he is able to perform at the highest level no matter what the situation. Colin was selected in October 2006, as a recipient of an SOS Grant by the New York Foundation for the Arts, administered on Long Island by the East End Arts Council. In May 2006, he received a BFA from the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music
