Drummer Brian Woodruff has toured the United States, Asia, and Europe and has performed with Bobby Watson, Marian MacPartland, David Lahm, Harvie S, Jiggs Whigham, Jerry Hahn, Gary Versace, Adam Niewood, Stacy Dillard, and on the Today Show. In the past year, Woodruff has been busy performing with The Jacob Varmus Quintet, The New-Trad Octet, and singers Akemi, Aimee Allen, Marieann Meringolo, Nana Yamakawa, and Chuck Cooper. His first CD as a leader, "The Tarrier," is now available, featuring a wide variety of Woodruff's originals performed by his stellar sextet. Recent recordings include All the Things We Still Can Be, with Jacob Varmus, Dream, with singer Aimee Allen, Brownstone, with the New-Trad Octet, and In the Spirit, with Marieann Meringolo
