Baka Beyond

Twenty-three years ago, a couple of UK musicians, Martin Cradick and his partner Su Hart, did something no-one else had done. They went into the forests of Cameroon in Central Africa, to meet, live with and record the music of the Baka Pygmy people. Since then, they've worked to spread the Baka people's music and culture through their band, Baka Beyond. They've also frequently returned to the forest to see the people and to return royalties earned by their music which assist Baka community development projects through their charity Global Music Exchange. After 22 years of touring around the world Baka Beyond's live show has evolved over the years
