In 1999 he accepted a full scholarship to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music, where he was able to study improvisation with Greg Hopkins, Joe Lovano, and Bill Pierce. Since the fall of 2002 Adam has been living in New York and New Jersey, working as a freelance trumpet player and composer, and attending the Manhattan School of Music, where he is currently a doctoral candidate
