Drummer/composer Yutaka Uchida was born in Tokyo and currently resides in New York City. As a versatile and creative drummer, he has performed with numerous artists from different genres in New York. He has also toured internationally with many artists such as Phishbacher, Nobuki Takamen, Love etc. and Tatsu Kisaragi. He was awarded grants twice from Council on Arts and Humanities for Staten Island for his original works and successfully held concerts at Greenbelt Nature Center. His CD “Living Together” features 10 original tunes of his, displaying his talent not only as a drummer but also as a composer, a music director and a producer
