Born in Okinawa, Japan, Chiemi had exposure to various types of music growing up. She started to write music at an early age, by the time she was in high school she was performing with her own band at local venues. She developed her passion for Jazz as a teenager and started to sing at local Jazz clubs. Her first vocal inspirations were Sarah Vaughn, Dinah Washington, Ernestine Anderson, Billie Holiday, and Shirley Horn. Tobiasz Siankiewicz is a Polish saxophonist and flautist based in New York City. After arriving in New York in 2012, Siankiewicz earned a degree in jazz performance from the City College of New York in 2017. During his time at CCNY he had the opportunity to study and/or perform with Steve Wilson, Jon Gordon, Jason Rigby, Mike Holober, Scott Reeves, Daniel Carillo, Dr. Lonnie Smith and Marvin Stamm. In 2018, he recorded his debut album with quintet entitled Time to Begin featuring musicians such as Bruce Harris and Clovis Nicolas.
