Brian Camelio is a Grammy® Award Winning producer, guitarist, composer and the founder of ArtistShare. Most notably he is widely considered to be the father of the "crowdfunding" model by forming ArtistShare in September, 2000. ArtistShare is a music industry business model where the fans fund the creation of new recordings and the artist is paid before the recording is released. To this date ArtistShare Artists have received a total of 11 GRAMMY awards and 32 GRAMMY nominations since 2004.
