Marco Bianchi "Vibes"

ENGLISH Marco Bianchi "Vibes" is considered one of the most important and eclectic musicians of his generation. Born in 1980, jazz vibraphonist, composer, arranger, graduated in "Percussion Instruments" at the age of 19 at the "G. Verdi" Conservatory of Como, he collaborated with classical / contemporary music orchestras until the early 2000s, but for now many years he devoted himself exclusively to Jazz collaborating with musicians such as Roberto Gatto, Gunter Sommer, Engelbert Wrobel, Gianni Basso, Andrea Pozza, Alfredo Ferrario, Michel Godard, Andrea Braido, Gianni Cazzola, Sandro Gibellini, Maxx Furian, Riccardo Fioravanti and many others . From the age of 16 to today, he has performed in festivals in International and National Festivals totaling more than 2500 lives

My first instrument was cello, then electric bass. When I found Jazz the upright bass found me. I have spent most of my life in Philadelphia except for a few years studying with John Patittucci in New York. Also studied with Buster Williams, Dennis Sandole and Al Stauffer. Played for many years and recorded with Ken Ulansey and Heath Allen, also with the Tom Lawton trio at the four seasons Hotel and Tony Williams Quartet at the Ritz Carlton. Was a long time member of Bobby Zankel's big band, made two records with them and a trio record with Edgar Bateman. I have also recorded with Larry Coryell and Mike Clark, Butch Ballard and Sam Dockery, Khan Jamal, and Kelly Meashey among others.

With their latest album House of Leaves, Just East have arrived at an extraordinary synthesis of sound, colour, light and imagery — the apotheosis of a musical idea whose roots go back to 1993. Latest album with Charlie Beresford Circle Inside the Folds was released in the spring of 2019.

Sonia was classically trained at Birmingham school of Music and Royal College of Music cellist and has since forged an eclectic freelance career. She has recorded with Chloe Goodchild, Barb Jungr, Babysnakes and Ennui and played in venues ranging from the rooftops of Timbuktu to the Camphill Communities of UK and Europe. She is currently principal ‘cellist of both the Brecknock and St Woolos Sinfonia's also playing regularly with her Castalia and Peregrine String Quartets and the Radnor Improvisers

Miss French

Of European decent, Miss French was born in New Zealand to a musical family who fortunately decided to quit the rat race and move to Laingholm, a place with beaches, bush and lots of space in the Waitakere ranges. Here she would immerse herself in the magical world of native New Zealand bush, a world of day dreams and adventures. Her father, a jazz enthusiast, was not only a player of many instruments including trumpet and double bass, but he built instruments. Performing with the family at 10 years of age and later in Auckland bands, influenced by Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Billy Holiday and Joan Armatrading, she began writing songs from her own unique perspective

Classical, jazz, blues, and pop music have all been part of Jan’s life since he began playing by ear at the age of three. His education includes a degree in Theory and Composition from the University of Alberta, advanced courses in theory and orchestration, and jazz studies at Grant MacEwan and North Texas State University. Mr. Randall’s classical works include A Midsummer Night’s Ice Dream (1991) which is possibly the first ballet composed for figure skaters. CREDITS With over 800 film and television credits for CBC, NFB, the Discovery Channel and ACCESS TV, in 2001 he was Composer and Music Director for the IAFF World Championships Ceremonies that was broadcast to an estimated live audience of 4 billion people and featured original works performed by the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and a 1000 voice choir

Claudia Vorbach

Claudia Vorbach is a singer-songwriter and a jazz vocalist that comes from Tübingen, Southern Germany. Jazz, Folk and Blues is crossing her songwriting. She grew up in a musical home with Jazz and classical music. She took piano lessons and learned guitar playing as a self-educator. Later on she developed her voice with different teachers. Mainly the Jazz Vocalist Freddy Wilkes and then Fola Dada, both in Germany. “Miss Authentic” one of her fellow musicians has called her, a nickname that expresses an essential feature of her music. She is described as “a bluesy Erykah Badu with a marvelous voice that begins in the smoky lows of Norah Jones and effortlessly climbs into the powerful, confident ranges of Lisa Stansfield”.
