The Great Harry Hillman

That the hurdler Harry Hillman deserved his own band became clear after he won three gold medals at the Olympic Games in 1904. Exactly 105 years later he got it: “The Great Harry Hillman”. This band is full of life! Through extensive touring in Europe, the band has developed a unique, distinct and catchy sound, which has been captured on the three albums “Livingston” (2013), “Veer Off Course” (2015) and „TILT“ (2017 – Cuneiform Records). Their entirely original compositions are written with a passion for detail, only to be at times interrupted by intense improvisation. This is the jazz of today, and Harry Hillman would be pleased. Musicians: Nils Fischer is a saxofone and bassclarinet player with a favour for low frequencies
