He has had experience with a variety of music genres including fusion, jazz, rock, prog rock, classical and death metal. As a guitarist and composer, his latest music projects are I Know You Well Miss Clara, SAdA and Reza Ryan Trio. Beside those music projects, Reza is known as a music/guitar educator in jazz and classical study and also gives workshops, guitar clinics and music scoring.

They then named their first child Eurysondhy Andrean John Imanuel Mangempis and Erik grew up as the eldest of 5 siblings. When other children had dreams of becoming a doctor or engineer, Erik Sondhy since young, had already known for sure what he wanted in the future, which was to become a famous musician. born 1975, full name Achmad Ananda Indra Purnama, born in jakarta, capital of indonesia, is among the young guitarplayers in indonesia’s current jazzscene probably the most promising. He started playing guitar at the age of 12. 1997 at the age of 22 he discovered the challenge and the beauty of playing jazz, when he met the great indonesian jazzpianist Idang Rasjidi. Short after that he studied with the great Oele Pattiselano and Denny Tr, followed by taking classes from the german Jazzmaster Günter Weiss, guestprofessor at jakarta’s Institut Musik Daya, IMD. In 2000 Idang Rasjidi asked him to join his band which gave him the opportunity to get deeper into the music and to develope his own unique style. Another milestone in his career was when he met John Stowell and japanese guitarplayer Hideaki Tokunaga
