Improvising guitarist Dylan Kay was educated at Berklee College of Music, the Guitar Institute and Oxford University. In Boston, he studied with such world- renowned teachers as Mick Goodrick, Hal Crook, David Tronzo, Tim Miller and Richie Hart. Dylan has worked extensively with Boston jazz vocalist Ellen O’Brien both in Boston and during 3 small UK tours. A freelance guitarist based in London, he works with various singers, bands and is currently writes and performs with 1224 Project (http://www.1224project.co.uk). The band's debut CD "What Happened to the Foot" is released in Nov 2010. 1224 Project is a London-based guitar-bass-drums trio that writes and performs electrifying, groove-fuelled contemporary jazz
