Afonso Abreu is a very particular musician from Brazil. Playing the bass,composing or producing, always shows his best and does what it has to be done and a lot more. On the road since the hard military brazilian sixties, with the repression and censorship, the "Mamiferos" worked hard to let the music free. Now, 40 years later, jazz and brazilian music are quite the same language and Afonso dives into that universe with all his might, with his faithfull friend Marco Antonio Grijo on Drums and a new aquisition to make things a little fresher, the piano of Pedro de Alcantara.
