Anat Cohavi Born 1979, Israel. Experimentalist, plays with massive amount of control and expression, yet stands and executes her art with a serene intention. Along with participation in various improvised music ensembles, Anat composes and performs with her own Berlin-based ensemble. Studied saxophone with Albert Beger (Israel), composition with Slava Ganelyn (Israel) and Phil Winsor (USA)and multimedia with Josef Butch Rovan (USA) Has performed in the US, Europe and Israel, and collaborated with musicians such as Johannes Bauer, Michael Zerang, Michael Thieke, Jan Roder, Clayton Thomas, Sabine Vogel, Michael Griener, Klaus Janek, Sebastian Hilken and many others
